As satanic as efficient. As secret as powerful. As ugly as the NWO – can get. Illuminati CIA mind control. Commonly known as MK-Ultra, which it is part of, or more specifically: Project Monarch. From the Book of the Dead to DNA Double Helix programming. From Hell to Hell.

Deutsche Version / German Version

I am not writing about my personal experience, I am writing about a NWO technique called mind programming. While constant mass mind programming in the form of propaganda, subliminal attacks and (covert) technology abounds, this article is about a more specific kind of programming of the mind.

Some content of this article may trigger. If this article has an uncomfortable effect on you, you may have undergone Monarch programming. Please read with care.

The Book of Dead

One of the earliest writings giving reference to occultism is the Egyptian Book of the Dead, a compilation of rituals explicitly describing methods of torture and intimidation (to create trauma), the use of potions (drugs) and the casting of spells (hypnotism), ultimately resulting in the total enslavement of the initiate. These have been the main ingredients for a part of occultism known as Satanism, throughout the ages.

This brain technique with surprisingly ancient roots, further developed with kind assistance of nazi ‘doctors’ flown via paperclip into CIA, is based on departementalisation induced via severe trauma.

In 1976, an whistleblower and victim of MK-Ultra mind programming published the book ‘The Control of Candy Jones’.

In 1976 a book by Donald Bain titled “The Control of Candy Jones” was published by Playboy Press. This one-of-a-kind book is the story Candy Jones, who was America’s leading cover girl during the forties and fifties. In 1960 Jones fell on hard times and agreed to act as a courier for the CIA. An excellent subject for hypnosis, Jones became the plaything of a CIA psychiatrist who used her to exhibit his mastery of mind-control techniques. This psychiatrist used hypnosis and drugs to develop a second personality within Jones over a period of 12 years. This second personality took the form of a courier who could be triggered by telephone with particular sounds, and after the mission was completed and the normal personality resumed, did not remember anything. These missions were elaborate, and frequently involved world travel to deliver messages. According to the book, Jones and other victims were once even subjected to torture at a seminar at CIA headquarters, as a means of demonstrating this psychiatrist’s control over his subjects.

After marrying a radio talk-show host and amateur hypnotist, her trauma induced and Illuminati programmed second personality emerged.

Jones married New York radio talk-show host Long John Nebel in 1972. An amateur hypnotist, Nebel stumbled onto her secret personality, and began unravelling the story over many subsequent sessions. Author Donald Bain, a family friend, was invited to reconstruct the story from more than 200 hours of taped sessions between Jones and Nebel. Various researchers have confirmed some pieces of the story, but Bain did not name the major CIA psychiatrist involved, nor did he name a second psychiatrist who Martin Cannon recently identified this second psychiatrist as the late William Kroger, who was an associate of Louis West, Martin Orne, and another MKULTRA veteran, H.J. Eysenck.

While MKUltra is a proven program – as in multitude of projects – by CIA after some previously secret records have been released – most information has been successfully destroyed during multiple elaborate operations MKUltra, and specifically mind programming, is one of the most potent, ugly and dangerous ‘weapons’ of NWO against humanity.

Whatever the truth is behind Candy Jones — and it’s difficult to see the book as an elaborate hoax — there’s no question that hypnotist George Estabrooks raised issues that the CIA took seriously in secret research for at least 25 years. The MKULTRA implementing documents specified that “additional avenues to the control of human behavior” were to include “radiation, electroshock, various fields of psychology, sociology, and anthropology, graphology, harassment substances, and paramilitary devices and materials.” The word “radiation” gave the Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments a reason to request a search of records on human experimentation from the CIA. Their final report, released last October, expressed dissatisfaction with the CIA’s response, and recommended that the CIA get their act together so that legitimate requests can be accommo-dated better in the future. One problem is the compartmentation of the CIA’s record-keeping systems. Another is that the CIA immediately decided that the Committee’s purview was restricted only to ionizing radiation — the type of radiation of interest in nuclear testing, as opposed to the electromagnetic and sound waves that might be used for mind control. Finally, those documents that the CIA did release were heavily redacted. The Committee noted that they had “received numerous queries about MKULTRA and the other related programs from scholars, journalists, and citizens who have been unable to review the complete record.” In fact, most of the MKULTRA records were destroyed in 1973 by the order of Richard Helms, who waived an internal CIA regulation to do so. It was also the practice of MKULTRA to maintain as few records as possible. If ESP, waves, implants, satanic ritual abuse and post-hypnotic robots aren’t sufficient, recently the subject of mind control has been of the credibility enjoyed by victims of alien abduction, researcher Julianne McKinney promotes the view that the entire UFO phenomenon was created by the secret state. A more thorough researcher, Martin Cannon, also promotes this view. In a long monograph titled “The Controllers,” he explains the UFO phenomenon as a “screen memory” cover story induced by U.S. intelligence to protect their own mind-control experiments.

Monarch – a powerful Illuminati symbol

Project monarch

Project MONARCH could be best described as a form of structured dissociation and occultic integration, in order to compartmentalize the mind into multiple personalities within a systematic framework.

During this process, a Satanic ritual, usually including Cabalistic mysticism, is performed with the purpose of attaching a particular demon or group of demons to the corresponding alter(s).

Of course, most skeptics would view this as simply a means to enhance trauma within the victim.negating any irrational belief that demonic possession actually occurs.

Another way of examining this convoluted victimization of body and soul is by looking at it as a complex computer program: A file (alter) is created through trauma, repetition and reinforcement. In order to activate (trigger) the file, a specific access code or password (cue or command) is required.

Trance Bambi

The victim/survivor is called a “slave” by the programmer/handler, who in turn is perceived as “master” or “god.”

A trigger to me. Bambi.

Disney movies and cartoons are used in a twofold manner: desensitizing the majority of the population, using subliminals and neuro-linguistic programming, and deliberately constructing specific triggers and keys for base programming of highly-impressionable MONARCH children
In Illuminati Structured MPD Systems, the willow tree represents the occultic powers of Druidism.

Druistic willow tree

The intrinsic imagery of the tree’s branches, leaves and root systems are very significant.

Witchcraft ritual abuse seeks to “attach” evil entities (spirits of abusers and demons) to dissociated identities to harass and control victims for their entire lives. Claims, curses, covenants, hexes, vexes, etc. are used to forever malevolently define victims as evil, physically or mentally ill, socially devalued and isolated, sexually enslaved, a murderer, a cult member, a witch.

Mental health and law enforcement professionals working with severe trauma are increasingly seeing victims of torture for the purpose of installation of more covert mind control, that is, mind control that was “installed” in a deeply dissociated (without conscious awareness) state, and controls the person from these unconscious, dissociated, states of mind

Dissociative identity disorder (DID), previously known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), is a mental disorder characterized by the maintenance of at least two distinct and relatively enduring personality states. This is accompanied by memory gaps beyond what would be explained by ordinary forgetfulness (Wikipedia)

Trauma-based mind control programming can be defined as systematic torture that blocks the victim’s capacity for conscious processing (through pain, terror, drugs, illusion, sensory deprivation, sensory over-stimulation, oxygen deprivation, cold, heat, spinning, brain stimulation, and often, near-death), and then employs suggestion and/or classical and operant conditioning (consistent with well-established behavioral modification principles) to implant thoughts, directives, and perceptions in the unconscious mind, often in newly-formed trauma-induced dissociated identities, that force the victim to do, feel, think, or perceive things for the purposes of the programmer.

Installed program (examples: ‘Double Helix’,’Carousel’) “triggers”, “cues”, and “access codes” allow the programmer easy access to programmed personalities and program structures to install or change commands, messages, and information, and to retrieve information, all out of victims’ conscious awareness.

Survivors of ritual abuse who re-associate their history of abuse usual begin to recover their memories of abuse from between 30 and 50 years of age. It is generally many years more before the survivor becomes aware of mind control programming and its ongoing effects on her or him.

Unconscious personalities perceive themselves as trapped within, or attached to, these structures, both visually (in internal imagery), and somatically (in experiences of pain, suffocation, electroshock, etc.).

Structures are installed in early childhood, generally between 2 and 5 years of age. Torture and drugs are applied beyond the endurance of all of the already-formed personalities, which usually requires that the child be taken near death. The intent is to bury all memory for the event deeply in the unconscious mind, below the level of consciousness of all personalities

Mass hypnosis and brain conditioning. Both researched by Nazis and perfectionned by CIA.

One of the main internal structures, (of which there are many) within the system is shaped like a double-helix, consisting of seven levels. Each system has an internal programmer which oversees the “gatekeeper” (demons?) who grant or deny entry into the different rooms.

A few of the internal images predominantly seen by victims/survivors are are detailed below.

Some Code

As one would expect, mind programing code relates heavily on common principles employed by NWO related entities:

  • trees
  • the Cabalistic “Tree of Life,” with adjoining root systems
  • infinity loops
  • ancient symbols and letters
  • spider webs
  • mirrors or glass shattering
  • masks
  • castles
  • mazes
  • demons/monsters/aliens
  • sea shells
  • butterflies
  • snakes
  • ribbons
  • bows
  • flowers
  • hour glasses
  • clocks
  • robots
  • chain-of-command diagrams
  • schematics of computer circuitry boards

In order to keep MKULTRA from being easily detected, the CIA segmented its sub-projects into specialized fields of research and development at universities, prisons, private laboratories and hospitals. Of course, they were rewarded generously with government grants and miscellaneous funding.

Next. Cathy O’Brian.

My name is Cathleen (Cathy) Ann O’Brien, born l2l4l57 in Muskegon, Michelin. I have prepared this book for your review and edification concerning a little known tool that “our” United States Government is covertly, illegally, and unconstitutionally using to implement the New World Orper_ (One World Government). This well documented tool is a sophisticated and advanced form of behaviour modification (brainwashing) most commonly known as MIND CONTROL. My first hand knowledge of this TOP SECRET U.S. Government Psychological Warfare technique is drawn from my personal experience as a White House “Presidential Model’ mind-control slave. Much of the information enclosed herein has been corroborated and validated through brave and courageous “clean” members of the law enforcement, scientific, and IntelligenCe communities familiar with this case. These individuals’ efforts helped me to understand and corroborate what happened after a lifetime of systematic physical and psychological torture orchestrated to modify my behaviour through totally controlling my.mind. Some of these courageous individuals are employed by the very system that controlled me and live in fear of losing their jobs; their families, or their lives. They have gone as far as they dare towards publicly exposing this tool of the^engineers of Ihe New World Order–to no avail.

TranceFormation of America, Cathy O’Brien, 1995

Cathy O’Briens introduction to her book is intriguing. Another knowledgeable source concerning mind programming are Cisco Wheeler and Fritz Springmeier:

The Carousel in real life is used as a device to teach dissociation, and how the alters are to go up and down in trance. Sometimes you will see parents who seem to be so loving having their children ride for long periods on a carousel. They might actually be programming them in dissociation. An internal carousel is built into an internal system. Mirrors and shadows are placed around and perhaps in it. The carousel spins and moves up and down repeatedly. In the center of the carousel, the Programmers often place something or someone important. They will often put this at the bottom of the DNA double helix and have the double helix elevator shaft coming up the center of the carousel. The carousel’s bottom side will set on top of the system’s switching mechanism. And the core will sometimes be placed in the center of the carousel somewhat underneath it. The switching mechanism is the main control for turning the system (the Grandfather clock so to speak.) The carousel may have umbrella programming immediately on top of it. (This could be Illuminati Delta alters, which can be one of the deepest things put in.) The carousel must be approached from the back side. At times an internal key, which often looks like an old key is needed to enter the Carousel. Many Illuminati systems are given a key or set of keys, and at times when they enter therapy the front alters give this to their therapist not knowing what the key is, but knowing it is important. The co-authors believe that these keys are carousel keys. A false trinity will be assigned to guard this, which will consist of the False Prophet, The Beast or Dragon, and the Hoofed One. The false prophet and the Beast (dragon) come out of the book of Revelations. The Hoofed One is a rare occult term for Satan, not to be confused with the popular usage of the Horned One in the occult. The two terms are different. If several carousels are built into a system, then they will have other guards than the false trinity. In many Illuminati systems, there are 13 silent splits made from the core called silences, and at this time during the splitting process guards are made to the Carousel/core.

DNA double-helix. An important Illuminati CIA MK-Ultra program

A personal note

For personal reasons, one could only phantom what those reasons might be, I became particularly interested in the – as I have been told at 14 by somebody who said ‘I am from the real Illuminati’ – ‘spiritual’ program with the name ‘Double Helix’.

As can be noted from the ‘Carousel’ program summary above, the double helix is a central construct of other programs too.

The double helix pattern is used as an elevator shaft running up and down the worlds created for the alters. In general, each world lays at a trance level. The double-helix is put in at programming sites where they have full medical facilities, such as Letterman Hospital, Presideo, CA. The codes up and down the elevator are alpha-numeric with lots of numbers. Because the way the double helix shape twists, one can ride the elevator and get off a level 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 but you have to ride it the other way to get off at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. Because the double helix is the centerpiece of how the different physiological states of the mind are being layered, taking the victim down to these different physiological states and levels is very risky and by the time it is through it involves lots of blood transfusions for the victim. The Caduceus is a double helix with snakes at the top. The Caduceus is an occult symbol used in ancient Babylon, ancient Hindu India, and by Chinese occultists. Mercury in occult lore carries a staff called a caduceus. Mercury’s staff is a cabalistic symbol. William Heller’s book on the Kabbalah on page 78 states, “Mercury’s staff, called Caduceus, and made of intertwined black-and-white twin serpents, heralds more forthcoming splits into duality. Once again, it reflects the ambivalent mind, its conscious, and subconscious states, its waking thoughts and imaginative dreams.” So according to cabalistic doctrine, the caduceus represents the various states of the mind.

Magic Information Technology

I have been often astonished by the connection between Unix operating system terms and CIA mind programming ones.

Terms like daemon, trigger, core, alter, shell, level are common to both Unix/Linux and Monarch.

an evil spirit, a source or agent of evil, harm, distress or ruin
mythology : a supernatural being whose nature is intermediate between that of a god and that of a human being
daemon : a software program or process that runs in the background

Merriam-Webster Dictionary

My earliest experience in computer science – which by disfortune is also the connection to MK-Ultra – was with Cobol. Cobol? What a name.

A team drawn from several computer manufacturers and the Pentagon develop COBOL—an acronym for Common Business-Oriented Language. Many of its specifications borrow heavily from the earlier FLOW-MATIC language. Designed for business use, early COBOL efforts aimed for easy readability of computer programs and as much machine independence as possible. Designers hoped a COBOL program would run on any computer for which a compiler existed with only minimal modifications. Howard Bromberg, an impatient member of the committee in charge of creating COBOL, had this tombstone made out of fear that the language had no future. However, COBOL survives to this day. A study in 1997 estimated that over 200 billion lines of COBOL code was still in existence, accounting for 80% of all business software code.

Cobol (1960), Timeline of Computer History, CHM

While Cobol survives (well) until today, a new operating system was born only 9 years later. For people in the know, the basis for the internet, embedded devices, the IOT, whatever important in IT is still UNIX – full of daemons, triggers, cores, alters, shells, levels.

AT&T Bell Labs programmers Kenneth Thompson and Dennis Ritchie develop the UNIX operating system on a spare DEC minicomputer. UNIX combined many of the timesharing and file management features offered by Multics, from which it took its name. (Multics, a project of the mid-1960s, represented one of the earliest efforts at creating a multi-user, multi-tasking operating system.) The UNIX operating system quickly secured a wide following, particularly among engineers and scientists, and today is the basis of much of our world’s computing infrastructure.

Unix (1969), Timeline of Computer History, CHM

From Cobol to Unix. And its open source variant, Linux.

The fact is that most people today are using Linux without ever knowing it — whether on their phones, online when using Google, Facebook, Twitter, GPS devices, and maybe even in their cars, or when using cloud storage for personal or business use. While the presence of Linux on all of these systems may go largely unnoticed by consumers, the role that Linux plays in this market is a sign of how critical it has become.

13 pillars of 666

The H-Root Server (H.ROOT-SERVERS.NET ) is operated by the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), formerly known as the Ballistics Research Laboratory (BRL), which has a long history of being a leader in the computing and networking arenas. BRL was the home of the world’s first electronic digital computer, ENIAC, and one of the first 50 sites to have a web server on the Internet. Many BRL/ARL researchers were involved in the early development of UNIX, the Internet and TCP/IP protocols (including the DNS). RSSAC023 24 BRL was one of the first and one of the most well connected nodes on the ARPANET/MILNET in the late 1970s and early 1980s. As such, BRL volunteered to host one of the original root servers – both to assist in the further development of the DNS and to provide a root server for the MILNET in the event that MILNET had to be disconnected from the Internet. Currently, ARL is home to one of the world’s largest supercomputing facilities and resides on the high-speed Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN), which ARL scientists helped design. To this day, ARL continues to operate a root name server as a service to the Internet community.

History of the Root Server System, ICANN

There are 13 root DNS servers globally. Without them, there is no internet. 13 – UNIX and Linux powered – pillars as the core of a system that Hebrews could translate as 666 – the world wide web, the spiderweb.

The Hebrew equivalent of our “w” is the letter “vav” or “waw”. The numerical value of vav is 6. So the English “www” transliterated into Hebrew is “vav vav vav”, which numerically is 666.

In Hebrew, the language of the kabbalah, the world wide web is 666. And web associates to spider. And spider? Google? And the flies. Are we collectively the flies? Interesting.

Not an answer – but interesting. The connection between technology and black magic is neither to apparent nor do I have watertight proof. But it is intriguing and plausible.

And wasn’t spiderweb a symbolism used in CIA Illuminati mind programming?

Satan inside

With artificial intelligence we are summoning the demon. You know all those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water and he is like… yeah sure he can control the demon.. doesn’t work out.

In essence, CIA MK-Ultra aka Illuminati mind programming tech is satanic at its core. The nice ‘present’ one gets from it is helpers of satan trying to f*** around with ones mind.

Detail from Saint Michael and the Demon, a neogothical stained glass window from Saint-Martin de Florac Church

And as one quickly understands after little research the NWO is of Luciferian belief – and Lucifer is:

Name for the Devil, the more common meaning in English, “Lucifer” is the rendering of the Hebrew word הֵילֵל‎ (transliteration: hêylêl; pronunciation: hay-lale)[2] in Isaiah (Isaiah 14:12) given in the King James Version of the Bible. The translators of this version took the word from the Latin Vulgate, which translated הֵילֵל by the Latin word lucifer (uncapitalized), meaning “the morning star, the planet Venus”, or, as an adjective, “light-bringing”. As a name for the planet in its morning aspect, “Lucifer” (Light-Bringer) is a proper name and is capitalized in English. In Greco-Roman civilization, it was often personified and considered a god and in some versions considered a son of Aurora (the Dawn). A similar name used by the Roman poet Catullus for the planet in its evening aspect is “Noctifer” (Night-Bringer).

Lucifer, Wikipedia

The Night Bringer. Behind the NWO, in this construct of pyramids in pyramids is thought to be an entity called Illuminati. The most widespread execution group is thought to be with the high level (33rd secret degree and up) masonic entities.

I’d assume there are less than 10 people on this entire earth who truly understand how this modern computer technology really works. As previously pointed out, all of it is based on occult knowledge, magic, witchcraft, divination, geomancy etc. When you tell people about this they’ll laugh in your face but Geordie Rose is telling you straight up in the face what it really is. Tells you straight up about summoning entities from another dimension and invading other dimension to pull in resources from another dimension into ours.
There is a hidden OS in all newer Intel chips

The common factor of above are their heavy reliance on techniques like numbers, symbols, mental structures. All based on black magic principles.

Mind programming is occult technology. And information technology?

A temple. And an intel chip. Intel inside. The mayans, aztecs etc all worshipped the gods aka entities from another dimension. As you can hear Geordie Rose (Video below), the head of “D-Wave quantum computing” himself, they are coming back. Now they are called aliens but they are the same entities of old, just different names. In quantum computing they talk about “qubits”. Well where have we heard that before? In the Bible. Temples were built using precise measurements, so called cubits.

Is there a connection between technology and alchemy, between operating systems and mind programming, between computer chips and dark symbolism? Are the internet of things, robots and virtual reality opening a link to what the al-Qorʾān calls djinns? Does hardware have a soul?

German Version / Deutsche Version

Two 5,000-year old male skeletons unearthed near the city of Tell el Hammeh, in the southern Jordan river valley, could possibly be the world’s oldest known homosexuals in human history.

Is sodomy a health booster, a pleasure, a creative sensual practice – or a horrible sin that led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? Two 5000 years old male skeletons and some Old Testament, Genesis reading did not make me any wiser. Sodomy. Sodom and Gomorrah. Sin?

Sodomy – anal intercourse

Recently I read the word sodomy in an article title – which made me comment it (, German) – and think. And while subsequently researching sodomy I stumbled on this definition.

anal intercourse

Sodomy, definition

As a side note, the common signification of the word sodomy also depends on language. In German, sodomy is often used to describe sex with animals. Which is technically incorrect as this would be ‘Zoophilie’. This article does not focus on the German language use of sodomy.

Ok. Fine. So apparently most gays, lesbians and bisexuals are by definition – as defined by their technique of sexual intercourse – sodomists. Those 5000 year old male skeletons discovered at the exact same location Sodom and Gomorrah were once – what an impressive discovery, also regarding the position of the 2 skeletons, a strange combination of sensuality and death – only (seem to) further prove the point.

Those ‘lovers’ where found in the Southern Jordan River Valley. And where exactly? In the ancient ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Sodomy (/ˈsɒdəmi/) or buggery (British English) is generally anal or oral sex between people or sexual activity between a person and a non-human animal (bestiality), but it may also mean any non-procreative sexual activity. Originally, the term sodomy, which is derived from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Book of Genesis, was commonly restricted to anal sex.Sodomy laws in many countries criminalized the behavior. In the Western world, many of these laws have been overturned or are not routinely enforced.
Sodomy, another definition, by Wikipedia

Above made my sodomy ‘research’ more complex. Anal and oral intercourse. Or sex with a non-human animal. Bestiality. Would sex with an AI capable roboter be sodomy? And what about non-procreative sexual activity.? Apparently, as some define sodomy, all sensual activity which is not strictly for procreation would be sodomy.

Another interesting aspect of sodomy is its origin, the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Is sodomy ‘wicked’?

Sodom and Gomorrah, notoriously sinful cities in the biblical book of Genesis, destroyed by “sulfur and fire” because of their wickedness (Genesis 19:24). Sodom and Gomorrah along with the cities of Admah, Zeboiim, and Zoar (Bela) constituted the five “cities of the plain,” and they are referenced throughout both the Old and New Testaments and the Qurʾān.

Sodom and Gomorrah

I choose the King James version of Genesis to highlight some Bible content related to Sodom and Gomorrah.

But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous
And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:  Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake. And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.

Genesis , King James Version

Facts? Nope.

Those 10 ‘righteous‘ humans could not be found and God’s displeasure with what was happening in Sodom and Gomorrah led to him sending 2 angels to destroy the city. Which leads to the conclusion that what happened in those 2 cities was very sinful and Gods reaction to such is a harsh one.

But wait. What exactly happened there? In fact, the Old Testament and more specifically Genesis does not tell us. Those two cities were destroyed – but there is no indication as to why. The definition of the word sonomy earlier in this article suggests that the reason would have been sinful sexual practices. Specifically one: Anal intercourse.

A publishing friend of mine said: ‘Anal intercourse is unnatural.’

The prostate, a.k.a. the “male G-spot,” is supposedly the source of mind-blowing orgasms. You just have to be brave enough to go looking for it.

Yes, There’s a Male G-Spot— and Here Are 7 Things You Can Do to Find It

Oh. Such a serious sin that made God kill the population of 2 whole cities is actually capable of delivering ‘mind-blowing orgasms‘?

G-Spot stimulation device, from an ebay advertisement

Based on above information, one must assume that anal intercourse, or its (apparently) synonym, sodomy, is the reason for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as the Old New Testament and the Qurʾān tell us – and that it is a technique that is capable of producing mind blowing orgasms.

It may be able to help treat erectile dysfunction.

It can help improve urine flow.

It can alleviate painful ejaculation.

Leaving Sodom & Gamorrah by Peter Paul Reubens

Sodomy is unnatural

Stringently religious communities in general forbid any sensuality involved in sexuality. Or in other words, the experience of pleasure during love making is seen as a sin. For example, there are groups in fundamentalist jewish communities that use a blanket with a hole while having intercourse, thus ensuring that those two bodies to not touch and no pleasure is experienced.

Based on above, could it be that the amount of pleasure involved makes anal intercourse bad? That pleasure makes sodomy a sin?

Dolphins making ‘love’

Homosexual behavior in the animal kingdom is rife. One of the best-known examples is among bottlenose dolphins, with both males and females having encounters with members of the same sex. The exact reasons for the behavior are not well understood, but social bonding is thought to be a factor. Researchers in Australia are looking to solve the mystery. They recently observed big groups of dolphins engaging in what appeared to be homosexual behavior. A team from the Mandurah Dolphin Research Project in Western Australia noticed the males started spending quality time together after their mating season was over. “These dolphins, all but three of them juveniles, organized themselves in four subgroups in which they were observed engaging in socio-sexual behavior that included mounting and genital contact between individuals,” Krista Nicholson, of Murdoch University, told the Mandurah Mail.

As it seems both do dolphins have homoerotic experiences – and fun. So if sodomy, or anal intercourse, is enjoyed by dolphins, how can it be unnatural?

If one takes this articles information into account, one starts to wonder what sodomy really is. And further, what the origin of the word sodomy, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as recounted in the Old Testament, in Genesis, implies.

Here we have a word widely used but essentially of unknown content. Does sodomy relate to having fun during sex? And having fun makes sex such a horrible sin it made God destroy two cities? Or does sodomy relate to anal penetration, an apparently healthy practice both between man and woman, men and men or woman and woman which seems to provide amazing orgasms?

The Bible does not indicate what sodomy means. This holy book does not explain why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, just that the people in those two cities were not righteous.

The not righteous

Thus anal intercourse makes people not righteous?

Sodomy (anal intercourse) is still officially a crime in 14 US states.

Not righteous because it gives pleasure and is thus a horrible sin? Not righteous because it is unnatural – but practised by more ‘pure’ representants of nature that we humans seem to be, one of the smartest animals, dolphins?

Whatever Sodomy means and whatever Genesis means when it talks about the horrible sins of Sodom and Gomorrah’s inhabitants – many of us are (happy) sodomites. Even in conservative cultures.

Sexual Behavior of Married Iranian Women

Sodomy is widespread, healthy, gives pleasure. But is also a word that originates from Sodom and Gomorrah. A symbol for sensual sins which inspired controverse art.

‘The anal part is not made for sex’ my friend told me. Possibly. But then, the mouth is not made for giving sexual pleasure too. So is a blowjob sodomy too?

Sodomy. Sodom and Gomorrah. Sin.

But not everybody likes sodomy. Some not because it gives pleasure, and having pleasure in sex is a bad thing – to them. Some, because they believe it is unnatural – even if dolphins enjoy it. Some because they see it as dirty, ugly, unclean.

Fact is that the holy book does not tell us why Sodom and Gomorrah have been destroyed. Give us no indication as to the sins the people living there committed. But whatever they where, they were so widespread it was not possible to find 10 citizens who refrained of them.

Could it have been Sodomy? And if yes, why? Sodomy is healthy, pleasurable (oh, thats why?) and widespread. Both enjoyed by humans and some animals.

Nonetheless, the word sodomy is associated with something bad. Based on the assumption that anal sex is something that was highly popular in Sodom and Gomorrah. Facts? Nope.

Thus sodomy is a ‘bad’ word for a sensual technique. Loved by many. Despised by (many) others. And some even see it as a sin. There is no proof for this idea. But then, who needs proof when it is so easy to collectively connect the art of anal sex with such as ‘but the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly’?

I am a bit surprised. Surprised that God, the creator, would destroy two whole cities because the people there where (no proof) gay, or (no proof) sodomizing – or whatever one can imagine as sensual practices when one has absolutely no facts.

But whatever the Bible or God intended to tell me with the story of Sodom and Gomorrah – I do enjoy what is known generally as sodomy.

And you?

The pattern inside

Deutsche Version / German Version

Dum. Dum. Dum. The heartbeat of our mother is the first thing we feel and appreciate from this world. Rhythmic. Then the contractions as we get out. Rhythm. Life starts with rhythm and ends with rhythm – as our last heart beat rhythmically ends this existence.

Not yet able to hear, see, or think – but to feel the sensation of rhythm – me, you, once (listening) to rhythmic vibrations in mothers body

When you came into this life, your first felt experience was the sensation of rhythm. Not the sound (initially), but the sensation of rhythm. Before you could hear, see, touch, or think, you were unadulterated physicality—pure instinctual and primal substance, a human animal in its infancy, animated by the spark of life that foretold of a human being. You sensed your being as only slightly distinct from your mother’s body, intimately connected to her physical and emotional rhythms, yet very gradually emerging into a sense of your own self. Take yourself back to those first few weeks in her womb . . . Listen closely . . . Hear the “lub-dub—lub-dub—lub-dub”. . . . It’s your mother’s heartbeat, massaging what is to become you with its consistency and power, accompanied by the steady undulation of her breathing. If you were fortunate, most of the time the sensations generated by her heartbeat and breathing would lull and rock you. So your initiation into life is first sensed completely through rhythm.

But rhythm is not only the first impression – and the last – we get and keep of this world, rhythm seems to be – much – more than that. If one looks at the origins of music, be it in the ancient – traced to 6000 BCE – Ayurvedic tradition or in the pulses of Shamanic rituals , developed a hefty 5000 years ago, the power and significance the attribute to rhythm ecompasses the connection to the infinite, to God, the universe, the very essence of existence.

The Shaman and his community saw the drum to embody universal life force energy that connects everything and everyone. The drum is seen to contain the spirit of this life force energy and therefore has the ability to sustain life itself maintaining wellbeing and balance within a community. When a drum is played in a continuous rhythmic fashion the life force within the drum is released through its vibrations and sound. The rhythm also facilitates the Shaman in journeying to the spirit worlds, the astral level in which our personal over soul lives as well as an immortal being of pure energy. This is the plane of realisation, spiritual consciousness, where perception, knowledge and action can occur simultaneously.

The Shamanic Drum

Sound pattern, which in themselves include patterns, and the pulse, the rhythms, the structuring beat, are seen be recent science not just as a game changing human invention, but as basic capabilities ingrained in our neuronal circuitry. We have indeed music – and the core of it, rhythm – inside.

Have you ever wondered why a strange piece of music can feel familiar—how it is, for example, that you can predict the next beat even though you’ve never heard the song before? Music everywhere seems to share some “universals,” from the scales it uses to the rhythms it employs. Now, scientists have shown for the first time that people without any musical training also create songs using predictable musical beats, suggesting that humans are hardwired to respond to—and produce—certain features of music.

Rhythm might be hardwired in humans

Those pulses – as everything we touch – transfer the whole range of ’emotions’. From the hypnotic beat of reggae to the sound of rhythmic footsteps as the soldiers march in honor of fascism.

Rhythm, in music, the placement of sounds in time. In its most general sense, rhythm (Greek rhythmos, ῥυθμός, derived from rhein, “to flow”) is an ordered alternation of contrasting elements, “any regular recurring motion, symmetry” (Liddell and Scott 1996)) generally means a “movement marked by the regulated succession of strong and weak elements, or of opposite or different conditions” (Anon. 1971, 2537). This general meaning of regular recurrence or pattern in time can apply to a wide variety of cyclical natural phenomena having a periodicity or frequency of anything from microseconds to several seconds (as with the riff in a rock music song); to several minutes or hours, or, at the most extreme, even over many years. In poetry Rhythm is the repetition of a pattern of sounds created by the alternation of long and short sounds and stressed and unstressed syllables. In iambic pentameter, each line of poetry has 10 syllables that alternate in an unstressed, stressed rhythmic pattern.

Da. Da. Da. While researching rhythm, I stumbled over the Kora and realised how centered on pulse and pattern this in theory melodic instrument in practical play is. While we associate rhythm with beat, melodies would be absolutely nothing without it. Sample some Toumani Kora playing to get the vibe:

Toumani Diabaté (born August 10, 1965) is a Malian kora player. In addition to performing the traditional music of Mali, he has also been involved in cross-cultural collaborations with flamencobluesjazz, and other international styles

Cheesecake, courtship, cohesion – and universal glue

Music and its core, rhythm – passion, attraction and community.

Darwin suggested that human ancestors, before acquiring the power of speech, ”endeavored to charm each other with musical notes and rhythm.” It is because of music’s origin in courtship, Darwin believed, that it is ”firmly associated with some of the strongest passions an animal is capable of feeling.” (…) The rock guitarist Jimi Hendrix, for instance, had ”sexual liaisons with hundreds of groupies, maintained parallel long-term relationships with at least two women, and fathered at least three children in the United States, Germany, and Sweden (…) Why on earth would nubile young women choose a rock star as a possible father of their children instead of more literary and reflective professionals such as, say, journalists? Dr. Miller sees music as an excellent indicator of fitness in the Darwinian struggle for survival. Since music draws on so many of the brain’s faculties, it vouches for the health of the organ as a whole (…) Male chimpanzees sometimes chorus in a call known as a pant-hoot, though usually to attract females to a new source of fruit they have found. For human ancestors, musical displays of this kind ”may have formed the evolutionary basis for the musical abilities of modern humans,” Dr. Hagen and Dr. Bryant write. The Pentagon’s vigorous support of military bands — $163 million in 1997 — lends a certain resonance to this view … Whether music is cheesecake, courtship or cohesion, its mystery remains unbreached.

We Got Rhythm; the Mystery Is How and Why

Then there is much, much more to rhythm. For the ancient sages of Ayurveda, vibration are the glue of the universe. And our own bodies are just a manifestation of those vibrations. Our body is sound.

According to Ayurveda, the human body is the manifestation of sound. More specifically, our bodies are expressions of primordial sound, or ancient natural sounds expressing themselves in rhythms and synchronicities and frequencies of vibration. These frequencies of vibration become the energy fields that ultimately become the matter of our bodies. For the ancient sages of Ayurveda, these vibrations were literally the bond that held the universe together.

In music, poetry, language, those pattern expressions use and combine different approaches that include:

  • Random Rhythm.
  • Regular Rhythm.
  • Alternating Rhythm.
  • Flowing Rhythm.
  • Progressive Rhythm.

Universe to introspection

But rhythm is not just outside. Rhythm gives our inner universe flow.

circadian rhythm is a natural, internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats roughly every 24 hours. It can refer to any biological process that displays an endogenousentrainable oscillation of about 24 hours. These 24-hour rhythms are driven by a circadian clock, and they have been widely observed in plantsanimalsfungi, and cyanobacteria.

The term circadian comes from the Latin circa, meaning “around” (or “approximately”), and diēm, meaning “day”. The formal study of biological temporal rhythms, such as daily, tidal, weekly, seasonal, and annual rhythms, is called chronobiology. Processes with 24-hour oscillations are more generally called diurnal rhythms; strictly speaking, they should not be called circadian rhythms unless their endogenous nature is confirmed.[3]

Although circadian rhythms are endogenous (“built-in”, self-sustained), they are adjusted (entrained) to the local environment by external cues called zeitgebers (from German, “time giver”), which include light, temperature and redox cycles. In medical science, an abnormal circadian rhythm in humans is known as circadian rhythm disorder.

Universe inside. All timed. All clocked. All rhythmic.

Biological rhythms are the natural cycle of change in our body’s chemicals or functions. It’s like an internal master “clock” that coordinates the other clocks in your body. The “clock” is located in the brain, right above the nerves where the eyes cross. It’s made up of thousands of nerve cells that help sync your body’s functions and activities. There are four biological rhythms: circadian rhythms: the 24-hour cycle that includes physiological and behavioral rhythms like sleeping; diurnal rhythms: the circadian rhythm synced with day and night; ultradian rhythms: biological rhythms with a shorter period and higher frequency than circadian rhythms; infradian rhythms: biological rhythms that last more than 24 hours, such as a menstrual cycle

What Are Biological Rhythms?

But why not ‘deturn’ some. To our source.

Going primitive

Grunt, chortle, smack, hoot, waah, squeal, peep, bark, laugh. Back to origin.

“After a training to tap illuminated keys on an electric keyboard, one chimpanzee spontaneously aligned her tapping with the sound when she heard an isochronous distractor sound. This result indicates that sensitivity to and tendency toward synchronous movement with an auditory rhythm exist in chimpanzees, although humans may have expanded it to unique forms of auditory and visual communication during the course of human evolution.”

Spontaneous synchronized tapping to an auditory rhythm in a chimpanzee

Rhythm is glue of universe, ingrained in our neurons and in our genes. And part of our native identity.

When researchers reported recently that they had managed to get captive bonobo apes to pick up a beat and play along briefly on a drum, it was merely the latest entry in what has begun to look like a multispecies musical extravaganza. Just in the past year or so, scientists have given us a California sea lion bobbing its head to “Boogie Wonderland” and a chimp in Japan spontaneously playing a keyboard in time with a simple beat. Before that, there were romantically inclined mosquitoes harmonizing their whining wing beats. The study of animal musicality goes back at least to Charles Darwin. He noted that rhythm is everywhere in the biological world, leading naturally, he thought, to the rise of music. Scientific interest got a boost with recordings of whale song in the 1960s and has grown dramatically in this century, thanks in part to new technologies for viewing how brains respond to music.

Do Animals Have Rhythm?

A beautiful example I found of apes aptitude with rhythm is ‘Chimp sound music Experiment/2018’:

What an impressive reaction and deep knowledge of rhythm apes have…

Rhythm is in practically any action possible in our existence here. One could say that rhythm is actually life.

“We now define our proposed sub-components. First, motor periodicity is simply the quasi-periodic execution of any repetitive action and is ubiquitous in biology including heartbeat, breathing, running, swimming, chewing, the wake/sleep cycle, and numerous other rhythmic activities. Any of these actions can be characterized by a time-varying frequency and phase, but they need not be synchronized. Second, beat extraction involves the perceptual inference of a pulse given a repetitive stimulus, often acoustic. This is a cognitive phenomenon that presumably involves the entrainment of endogenous neural oscillators with some external time-giver. Third, we can optionally synchronize motor actions with this inferred beat (as when tapping a finger to a metronome), a phenomenon we term audiomotor entrainment (potentially the most biologically unusual feature of human rhythmic behavior). The final element, meter, involves higher-level groupings of single events (or beats) into a hierarchical structure in which some events are stressed (‘strong’) and others are not (‘weak’). Meter is a core element of speech rhythm and metrical phonology and also plays an important role in music.”

The Evolution of Rhythm Processing

From the apes to rap, there is no gap. The drums of deep forests echo in blues, gospel, jazz, swing, funk – you name it. Music evolution is one tightly interlinked patchwork of influences. And deep in the core of all this melodic activity there is – encompassing, universal, connected to the one, as prehistoric as avantgarde, as inner universe as outer universe, as in everything as encompassing everything – rhythm.

From native tribes, shamanic drums, to slave survival rhythms to Hip-Hop and rap – rhythm is the essential connection through centuries of music expression

Cold war and 9/11

This is not – essentially – another article about the virus named SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 and not about the pandemy – as the WHO proclaimed it to be – that it – apparently – created globally. This is an essay about fear. Fear as a weapon used with dramatic impact by entities that love to act from behind the curtain. And about the surrealistic, kafkaesk, morbid reality I’m experiencing. Definitely the most impressive shift of reality since I have been born in 1966.

During my childhood, the common, collective fear was the cold war. A fear that the next generation does not know or care about. But for me and the society around me, it was the fear number one. The next big, global installment of the fear principle was 9/11. Those airplanes that flew into the world trade center in New York. I remember them well – also because it was my birthday. To me those pictures being repeated that whole day on every television channel, printed on every single newspaper frontpage, repeated over and over like in an endless hypnotic loop where like candles on a morbid birthday cake. But what connected both those fears, looming over us like the proverbial Sword of Damocles which Dionysius II let hang over the once too happy court flatterers head, is an eerie feeling. That something is off. Something feels wrong. Terribly wrong.

The collective fear of the end of the world by nuclear destruction of two opposed systems, communism and capitalism, the second installment of that same collective fear, like one gear up on the global human fear scale, was 9/11 – the fear of terrorism. Fear number 1 led to a massive anti-communist witch hunt, powerful and unhindered secret service activity, a public happy with decreased freedom in order to protect survival. Fear number 2 made those collateral damages of the first one look small, infinitely small even. With those airplanes hitting the landmark of the land of the free values right in the core. Suddenly, freedom did not seem to matter anymore. Whenever the word terrorism fell, populations were eagerly accepting any kind of change of law. And whenever systems wanted to take more of the little remaining citizens rights away, they just needed to mention the magic word ‘Terrorism’. 9/11 was nearly 20 years ago and has changed reality profoundly. In retroperspective, neither the cold war fear nor the 9/11 fear made me fearful, but their repercussions on public opinion, the magic switch in reality which followed them.

Fear Number III

But now both of those fears and their astonishing global secondary effects which profoundly changed society seem so astonishing anymore. Fear Number III has arrived. And because I am not writing an article about SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 and do not want to focus on this magic virus, I will refrain from calling it such and remove some of its occult power by just kicknaming it ‘C’.

Throughout history, totalitarian regimes have maintained control by imposing a strategy based on fear. Those who oppose the established order are called a “danger” to the nation by those in power. Creating fear and keeping people in ignorance are two infallible ways to stay in power.

Fear is an instrument of oppression, Revista Envio

C is more than any science fiction movie I ever saw, more than any distonian book I ever read, more than any scare story I’ve ever read in 53 years of my humble life on this year. And it is not the virus, of which a comparatively humble number of 56 people globally died today. It is the fear, the mass panic, the truly horrendous secondary effects of C.

The name is due to the characteristic, wreath-like appearance of corona viruses (Latin “corona”: wreath, crown). The word Corona is of Latin origin and means crown or also wreath and is known by the holy Corona, a martyr from the 2nd century.

Corona, origin

And those are not medical, not scientific. Those secondary effects are the endless flow of martial law implementations by systems around the globe. A truly extreme reaction unthought of in the past – and surpassing anything one could ever read or see in fiction by far.

56 died from C today. 3014 from tuberculosis. 2430 from hepatitis. 2216 from pneumonia. But C is king.

Fear number III has the magic power of an occultist wet dreams coming true. If those Illuminatis exist, or whatever they are called, that entity behind the smoke screen, they must have been mildly happy with the magic effect instilled by cold war, with medium smile since 9/11 and wildly grinning now.

“There is always danger for those who are afraid.”

George Bernard Shaw, author

Whatever medial, mass psychology, subliminal effort it took to instill fear number 1 and 2, fear number III is the chartbreaker, is the megastar, is the ultimate occult weapon as it seems. Fear number III has reduced all the accumulated fantasy of any filmmaker, author, artist in creating a massively altered fictional reality to a faint fart. C seems to be the ultimate psychological weapon, the holy grail of global control, the final tool.

Switch of reality

On the 3th of this month I left Switzerland for Spain – and yesterday I travelled from Spain to Germany. In only 14 days I experienced several switches of reality which feel like travelling from planet to planet.

When I arrived in Alicante 2 weeks ago, all was fine. Sunshine, people sipping on coffees and beers in the bars, people smiling, full of life. In the following days suddenly government decisions from around the globe regarding C popped up – and Spain was, by the King’s decision, put on Alarm state (a nice word for martial law).

And from one day to the other street where completely empty, shops, bars, everything closes with C warnings on the door. An eerie, surreal, dystopian silence took hold of Spain. And police started patrolling, closing down children’s playgrounds, checking suspiciously every face on the street. Then even drones came, patrolling with their stringent virtual eyes and informing all the stay home.

And when I arrived at the Alicante airport, with much look at possibly the last public transport, there they were. All those eyes full of fear, those mask adorned people proudly wearing what will because the fashion add-on of the year. And with another streak of luck I made it to probably one of the last planes before airport shutdown. And landed in Düsseldorf, Germany, again – probably, as one of the last before both countries completely closed their borders. To be beamed into a completely different reality, where shops and hotels are still open, people wandering on the street, smiling – still, somewhat – all normal, easy, fine.

But what will happen tomorrow. Every minute new policy changes around the world are communicated. Friends of mine in Greece are stuck, other in Ireland, others in Switzerland. All in different situations, all getting told in an endless row of new regulations and rules again and again how to now behave.

“If they tell us to stop breathing tomorrow, many would”, I half jokingly told an acquaintance in my cheap hostel yesterday. And cheap it is, as the receptionist told me yesterday, because it’s nearly empty. ‘Corona special’ I thought, smiling. Smiling – but sad inside.

And no, I am am for the protection of the old, the frail. And no, I am not by all means an non empathic being. And no, I understand that C is not just a joke.

But where is this going? What will happen in a minute, in an hour, how will reality look tomorrow, in a week, in a month? How far can the system go?

Is C man produced, is C a biological weapon against freedom, against humans, against those useless eaters ‘they’ apparently so disrespect? Is C a virus or a new religion of infinite fear?

What is C – really?

Deep trance sheep vs conspiracy nuts

There seem to be two opposite types of humans living in all systems around this globe. Those that think that systems are basically good and truthful and that the reality represented by the mass media is valid – and those that don’t.

Not only are those two factions of people, those that mindlessly believe in what the pharmaceutical industry sells them, in the godsend of all technology, that those behind bars deserve to suffer, that human rights are real – and those that don’t. But those that are often called by the previous group crazy conspiracy nuts – notwithstanding the fact that numerous conspiracy theories have throughout the history become facts – are not the majority. Far from it. Thus this article – again – opens a controversy of David against Goliath. Of the few vs the many.

And because democraties, or whatever the majority of systems could be named that pretend to be such, are majority concepts, as long as one group is possibly a minority of 2% versus an overwhelming majority of the remaining 98% whatever this majority will decide to happen, or let happen, will.

Thus not only is this article in the end another useless article written by a basically useless member of a small minority of ‘thinkers’ – but the impact of it will be as the impact of all the others I have written during those last over 10 years, nearly nill.

This, apart from the extremely impressive impact C has made on our collective reality, on laws, on freedom, on perception, on our rights, is the sad truth which with I would like to end another substantial amount of hours spent behind a screen typing, thinking, researching, looking for the right words, wording and rewording, revising – and finally hitting the publish button.

I often think about the fact how useless my work is. That while the corporate journalists do want to, do ‘have’ to (due to their orders and dependencies) lie and can actually live from it, I am and will remain a poor and useless writer of what I see as truth for most probably the end of my days.

“The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.”

George Orwell

But then I also have to think of the innumerable people that lost their comfort, their freedom and often their life for the same reasons since many centuries. And in the name of those – and in the name of my own conscience – I will continue to write those most probably completely useless words. Until my last breath and until my existence on this Earth comes to an end.

And if C is – as a friend publisher said to me yesterday in a late night conversation – not just another test drive but the final occult theater act before the curtain falls – then I will (and have to) humbly accept whatever destiny will soon hold for me, and all of us. As the saying goes:

Sad – but true.

German version/Deutsch Version

A synonym to quack I found online while researching is ‘medicine man’. This pretty much sums up the essence of the following article. Apparently, the conclusion is that all that what we cannot measure with current science – and the current state of science pretends to be the truth, as science has so often pretended already in the past – is quack: Homeopathy, spirit healing, bach flowers and even acupuncture which is based on a meridian system science can’t see. All just quack. Apparently the term quack has its origin in the Dutch word kwakzalver, which then became the German expression ‘Quacksalber’. ‘Kwakken‘ signifies both bragging and chatting, and ‘zalf’ ointment.

Kwakzalver‘ incorporated

Now if medicine, the thing the trillion dollars worth global pharmaceutical industry monopolizes for her own benefit, was in any way fair they would have to admit that much of the science behind the proven effect of the pills, ointments and other medicine they sell involves more ‘kwakken’ than the alternative medicine they so despise.

Their brain pills, from antidepressants to ADHD make huge amounts of money. But what does science really know about the brain? ‘Oh, those pills will be good for you’, the psychiatrist says with knowing eyes and a calming voice. “And what about side effect?”, the patient asks after reading the scary leaflet list. ‘Oh no, those are so rare.” Sure. “Stomach pain, take this pill”, the pharma advertisement proclaims. No word about digestion going broke after prolonged usage. “Your nose is running, take this spray” the pharmacist whispers sweetly. No word about its active power. About those which nose fell off at the end.

“The FDA admitted in 2007 that SSRIs can cause madness at all ages and that the drugs are very dangerous … anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, aggressiveness, impulsivity, akathisia (psychomotor restlessness), hypomania, and mania, have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants”
Source: Antidepressants increase the risk of suicide, violence and homicide, the bmj

In brain medicine, and in many other areas, even if big pharma does not want to admit this, the effectiveness of there products is mainly based on trial and error. ‘Lets try this’, pharma says. First on mice, then on apes, then on humans. Oh, this does not work for heart problems, well, put it makes the penis hard. Oh, this antidepressant actually promotes suicide, lets keep it quiet. Oh, we just created a few million new meth addicts as a side effect of the addiction power of some nicely selling medicament. Shit happens.

So, as there is a system in science, a construct, over credentials, publications and in the end powerful lobby groups that defines what is science and what no, what is the exact difference between science and religion? The Church is a belief system, a doctrine, and science pretends to be exact, proven and true – but is (at least to a scaring extent) a belief system as well.

But back to the Quacks. In the purely atheistic view of science we are just a machine – body – which a different machine – brain – clued to the first one. And those either work or are in need for repair. I would have been diagnosed with ADHD as a child, if that diagnoses had existed back then (I checked myself reading through the largest producers checklist). Luckily, I could look out the window in school without pills. But, alas, I am left handed, and some ‘doctor’ in school diagnosed this as an illness, to be made go away by force.

“By the time they reach high school, nearly 20 percent of all American boys will be diagnosed with ADHD. Millions of those boys will be prescribed a powerful stimulant to “normalize” them. A great many of those boys will suffer serious side effects from those drugs. The shocking truth is that many of those diagnoses are wrong”
Source: The Drugging of the American Boy, Esquire

Big pharma could say, he is sad, he needs good conversation, compassion, exercice. But pills make (much) more money. They could say that if one has digestive problems one should eat different, less, more conscious, but pills make them rich, not compassionate words. If artificial sweeteners make pigs happy (and fat) why not try them on humans. Eh voila, another multi Billion market found.

“Viagra, Pfizer’s blockbuster erectile dysfunction drug hit the market in 1998. In 20 years, it’s become ubiquitous: 62 million men all over the world have bought the drug, according to a Pfizer spokesperson … the researchers who discovered it weren’t even looking for it. Sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, was originally developed to treat cardiovascular problems.”
Source: Viagra’s famously surprising origin story is actually a pretty common way to find new drugs, Quartz

So, alternative medicine is all quack. Homeopathy can’t work because they dilute, bach flowers can’t because they act on the fine, the spiritual structure – which of course, by ‘scientific’ definition does not exist – and spirit healing the same. And meridians, where could they reside, we can’t see them, can’t touch them. So?

The Church made sure to – through their allies – burn the witches, wise women using herbs, dishonor what they call pagan spirituality and, for power and convenience, steal,re-symbolize and appropriate essential pagan culture (like Easter or Christmas for example). So the Church monopolised spirituality. A common facet of religions. There is only one way to reach God – and I own it.

Pagan Easter – as seen by a Church sponsored artist.

Thus it is no wonder that doctors are called the ‘Gods in white’. The church has monopolised spirituality, they monopolise health. Or what the pretend to be health. In medicine, the pope is maybe the WHO, the cardinals the CEO’s of Novartis, Roche, Pfizer, Bayer and such – and the priests the brain and body doctors of sorts.

God in white

I remember an elderly doctor in Geneva, Switzerland, some years ago. I had a heavy cold a few times over the years I lived there and wanted to stay a few days at home to recover. The first time I went to see him, after he wrote me a long list of surely 20 pills, sprays and other assorted pharma products, I tried to explain him for 20 minutes that the only thing I needed – and had to pay for myself anyway – was some Tiger Balm. To no avail. The ‘God in White’ much like the priest in Church knew exactly what is good for me – if only – and was not even be able to listen. I was a sinner, a blasphemous idiot, a man to be converted to the true, holy science. I gave up. Took the list of pharma and threw it in the next garbage can. Whenever I had to go back I patiently listened to his ‘scientific’ excursions, took the list, getting longer each time – garbage can. Does one argue with the priest in Church?

Nasal sprays are heavily addictive, digestion aids destroy digestion, antidepressants provoke suicide. The list is endless. Do letters of indulgence, which were a great source of income for the church, really guarantee paradise? Does the pharmaceutical industry and their henchmann, the doctors of all sorts, the smiling but oh so persistant ‘Gods in white’ – do they really heal?

Infinite potence in a pill – invented by mistake. Trial and error or science?

So one one side we got this thing they call ‘alternative medicine’ full of subtle, spiritual energy concepts – and on the other the ‘scientific’ approach which is in essence more of a power, money and in a strange way kind of religious, fanatic approach of the pharmaceutical, scientific community forced and eagerly defended by their pope, cardinals and priests.

Quacks everywhere

So who are the quacks? The quack or ‘kwakzalver‘ reminds me of the sellers of potions centuries ago travelling from village to village selling immortality, magic potions that would cure all illness. Bragging and chatting to sell their ointments to gullible and fairly uneducated villagers.

Quack (‘kwakzalver‘) in Paris.

But are the quacks of modern times any different. And who is bragging and chatting most? Who is pretending on in omnipresent advertisement that all their products are oh so powerful, perfect and absolutely necessary to happiness and holiness – and in tiny, completely unreadable text adding som (forced by law) blabla about ‘ask your pharmacist or doctor about side-effects’. Oh no, all these Gods in white proclaim at the quietest doubt voiced by the adept sitting in front of their pharmaceutical altars. No risk – only fun inside. Don’t you worry.

Attention: Danger

But now the real danger. Not the pills, potions, ointments and such from the corporate ‘quacks’ pose any danger. Those are the only way to medical paradise.

The awful sinners of alternative medicine are the ‘quacks’. The ones that keep talking about things that don’t exist. Like spirituality, energy centers, self healing powers of body and mind, subtle energies. Quack, quack, quack!

Apparently, the immense danger of alternatives to the corporate quack money making scheme is some alternative medicine that according them, their lobbyists and their executioners, the doctors, psychiatrists and pharmacists united, is that they don’t work – at all – and they cost money.

Ok. Back to square one. If the alternative to the ‘proven’ medicine system is quack then how comes so many solutions of exactly that pharmaceutical elite don’t work? When I was (forced) in Italy, watching television shocked me. Not any nude content or weapon filled movies, but the commercials. ‘Back pain’ – take a pill (50% of Italians take it regularly), stomach pain – take a pill (70% of Italians take it daily). Pain here, pain there, we got the right pill for you: Instant action, delayed action, tooth pain, front lobe pain – a pill for every type of pain. Amazing. And Italian TV was full of those commercials. Nasal sprays that create a heavy drug addiction – as I read even the nose can actually fall off, as an easy pharmaceutical Mafia solution to handkerchief. And the opioid crisis in the USA – originally created by the same pharma Mafia.

When President Trump took office, the opioid crisis was devastating communities across America. Nearly 64,000 Americans died from a drug overdose in 2016 alone. Opioid overdoses accounted for more than 42,000 of these deaths, more than any previous year on record. In October 2017, President Trump declared the opioid crisis a public health emergency.
Source: Ending America’s Opioid Crisis, The White House

Not a problem. All these useless, addictive, dangerous solutions from pharma incorporated are not an issue. But alternative medicine is. The nonsense idea that the human body and brain are more than just a machine, that there are energies that one cannot see, that there are stimulants that work on a finer level than science can understand right now. That is the real danger.

Not that according to official reports 40% of the Swiss population are addicted to sleeping pills. Not that side effects often surpass the actual wanted effect of the drug. And not that much of the ‘approved’ medicine is based on trial and error – and also on much pain of Millions of animals which it needs to be tested on.

Marijuana – Gods plant, or were Peter Tosh and all successor herb lovers just quacks?

The quacks are always the others. The quacks say that Marijuana can alleviate pain, help sleep, relax. The quacks that believe that depressions cannot simply be healed by mountains of pills. The quacks that think that digestion is related to bad food, stressed or too much eating. The quacks that actually think that some exercise is preferably to daily intake of pain pills.

Meridians, basis of acupuncture and acupressure. All quack?

Yes, I’ve met some good doctors. Those that tell you that you better don’t take this or that pill. Some good psychiatrists. Those that prefer talk therapy to pills. Those that try to get people out of mental hospitals that don’t really belong there. But those are professionals shunned by their own colleagues. Gods in white that found out that they don’t want to be a God anymore.

While the most fascinating psychiatrist I’ve met was sitting on a chair in the garden of a mental hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland. He looked at me, then swiped his hand over the sky and told me: “See, I’m God, I can change the weather”. Who is he, I asked one of the employes: “On, he was a psychiatrist for 30 years, now he is a patient”.

Deepak Chopra, a quantum biologist who gave a new paradigm to body-mind connection, said that the body is a quantum mechanical device and that it is subject to the laws of quantum physics, not Newtonian physics. In 1986, he changed the way many of us looked at our mind and how the body handles the rejuvenation process. The older wisdom had pegged it at 7 years while Deepak Chopra revised it to one year (approximately 98% totally renewed).
Based on the estimates of quantum biology, you have a brand new stomach lining every 4 days, new skin every 30 days, a new liver in 6 weeks, even the skeleton is replaced every three months.  Within one year, almost 98% of our body is new! Such a revelation fundamentally changes the way we assist people in the healing themselves and others.

Cancer is not only a sad reality for Millions of humans each year, but also a major income source for the pharma complex. Chemotherapy, pills and other potent medicine makes Billions USD each year. But has science found the reason for all those cancers? Found why every year more people die of it? 98% of our body is replaced within one year. That is also science. But how, if all those cells are replaced, does cancer stay and kill us?

Kwakzalver’, do you hear me?

The standard medical industry has simple solutions. Myriads of them. Just like in the ‘good old times’ when the quacks moved from village to village to sell miracle drugs to the gullible. Making them immortal or ‘worse’.

Their simple solutions are often less based on real science that on the principle ‘follow the money’. They doctor the brain without understanding it. They make sure that the long list of side effects is downplayed by the delivery troops in the field. They influence politicians and lawmakers by spending Billions on lobbyists. And they make sure that the quacks are not them. That the quacks are those who – not always, but more often than not – actually really try to heal body and brain, not just remove the symptoms for a some hours. And make by not taking the cause serious enough the situation worse and worse.

I am not pretending to have proof that Homeopathy, spirit healing, bach flowers, acupuncture and other alternative medicine approaches actually work. But at the end of the day, they seem to work for many. And in general they have little of the nasty side effects that the pharma lobby downplays.

‘Kwakzalver’, do you hear me?

Not an anti-technology article

German Version / Deutsche Version

This will not be an anti technology article. Simply because I am not an anti technology person. But I do believe that inventions are per definition like babies, it depends on the nurturing of a newborn, on the emphasys, the surroundings, the way the society reacts to the new.

And I believe that technology has reached a point where it is not just changing appearances, having effect on the way we travel, produce, transport, build or any of those other practical implementations.

But that technology has reached a point where, essentially through the way she influences or – sadly – one can say increasingly defines communication, has a profound effect on human evolution (whatever that signifies).

One symbol of this is the device we commonly call mobile phone. Or, surprisingly, smartphone. While maybe the item itself could, at least theoretically, be defined as smart, possibly based on specs and operating system complexity – is our application of this specific technology smart too?

A phone on the wall. No comfort, no chair - and no way of taking it with me. Not smart. Or, actually, smarter than what we use today?
A phone on the wall. No comfort, no chair – and no way of taking it with me. Not smart. Or, actually, smarter than what we use today?

Phone on the wall

Until I stopped being a teenager, a black phone with a dial, that, as I remember took some muscle power and patience to use, hanging on a wall in the hallway, that rang maybe once a week, a persistent bell that nearly woke up the dead, was my only technology based communication medium.

And its main purpose was having one minute conversations that went like “Hello”,”How are you”,”Lets meet”,”Good bye”. Which ended uncomfortable standing and consistently initiated a full blown meeting in reality.

While, what is reality? Facebook, Whatsapp and other so called social platforms – and exactly how social they are is open to discussion – have become possibly more ‘real’ nowadays than meetings in person once where. This kind of old fashioned person to person communication where one can see, touch, smell, observe, in summary, fully interact with another person is not the common option anymore.

Looking into a screen, while sitting, walking, standing, while travelling, eating, waiting, while doing the most improbable things imaginable has become the ‘norm’.

I keep trying

I got a mobile phone. I admit. When I recently arrived in Switzerland – probably only to depart soon again – I got myself I cheap non-smart tiny thing for nearly nothing that could only do calls and SMS. What a revelation. Finally nobody sent me notifications, links (often for nothing and really to explain nothing at all). But then, alas, my bank told me that in order to use their services I needed to adapt (how often do we actually have to adapt to technology and how rare it is that technology adapts to us?) to their authorisation rule and have to devices, and two apps.

I tried to resist but then, in London trying to reactivate my UK phone, I was told that I needed 3G and that my tiny superthing was unable to adapt (even technology experiences obviliation). So off I went, sad and enslaved, to a new smartphone. Only now, there is no Whatsapp installed, no email retrieval activated. I keep the phone in a wanted ‘prehistorical’ state of on demand limitation.

And I thought about the fact that people are on their oh so smart-phones everywhere. So my one just stays in the pocket, or off if I am not wanted, which I prefer. I am with all my 5 senses in reality. If I can’t change the world, I can at least show with my own little self that I prefer this reality to that… wait…

What is reality?

The reality behind a screen is also a chosen reality. As is the reality in those apparently very addictive games that has even got some humans dead by simply forgetting to eat and drink, or by heart infarct.

We call the reality behind a screen virtual reality. As easy and convenient this sounds in a strict – possibly somewhat philosophical sense, any reality is as virtual or real as we experience it. In Shamanic Lucid Dreaming dreams are seen as more real than what we call reality. Experienced with all 5 senses.

And the reality behind the screen can – and indeed became – for some humans possibly also ‘more’ real than the ‘real’ reality. Virtual reality, taken to the extreme, can become not only a replacement of the reality we are used to call real, but actually a more realistic representation of ‘real’, or maybe better a more important one.

Thus, in essence, it is not about the objective reality value of a specific reality one is living but about the subjective importance of that reality the invidium perceives. Thus, suddenly, human beings who physically die because of playing a game and also a teenagers who kill their parents because they take their smartphone away are horrible and alarming, but on a psychological level make sad – very sad – sense.

“a 16-year-old killed his father for taking away his mobile phone while he was playing an online multiplayer shooter game. In another incident, in Bengaluru last August, a 15-year-old girl murdered her father with the help of a male friend after he attempted to curtail the amount of time she spent online”
Source: Deccan Herald

Those people completely immersed in their smartphone world, in the reality behind screens, which are not just some, but – at least in my subjective experience- daily more and possibly soon the majority, in buses, trains, shops, on the street, or even in Saunas, have effectively, I suppose, at least in some cases, defined the reality behind their screens more essential than the reality around them.

This is the information super highway that Clinton happily proclaimed, the secret service unfiltered space of virtual reality. The world behind those screens is made possible by the internet, the WWW, a network with roots in the Military. Made possibly since the initial comparative free times for the exact reason that it now reflects. Total control. But those thoughts are another story altogether. Another one I would like to talk about soon.

“Think of it, instant access to information will increase productivity, will help to educate our children. It will provide better medical care. It will create jobs. And I call on the Congress to pass legislation to establish that information super highway this year.”
Source: Bill Clinton

Filtering it out

This ‘superior’ virtual world of digital exchange has its limitations, in my humble eyes. But for the many immersed in that reality, the advantages seem to outweigh them. Virtual friends top physical ones. Virtual encounters don’t intimidate, virtual friends don’t smell, don’t have viruses (at least not body based ones), virtual friends don’t object (or they get blocked without remorse). Virtual friends don’t force you to go out, walk, take time. Virtual friends are easily exchanged, virtual friends can be communicated with in extreme parallel, virtual friends don’t need food, don’t have to be asked if they would like a coffee, virtual friends don’t break the omnipotent barrier of the magic smart(-phone) screen.

Fortnite. I frankly even had difficulty writing it. I have no clue about it. I tried playing SIMS (10 mins and bored), tried Second Life (same effect). Not for me – for you?

But not only the endless bliss of the internet is part of this world. Communication itself, even by voice, seems to have changed fundamentally. While I, old school, keep private conversation private, more and more are telling me, not asking but decidedly looking the other way and proudly assuming, that their most intimate life has and needs to be shared publicly with me. Family arguments, hour long video calls with their mother, of course over the loudspeaker and with me playing bokeh background, the most extreme arguments and deeply sad tearful end-of-life discussions – all right here in the open public. Is this smart? I can’t judge for others, but I do observe. And me, I find it too sad to shed tears – indeed.

Melancholically I dream of those ‘good old times’ when this black dial phone on the wall was my only technology based medium of communication. Where people would meet, not chat, play in the woods, not in massive multiplayer. Have a coffee, not place likes and dislikes strategically in a new, shining, amazing, glittering, infinite, speed of light, ever changing, ultra immersive, omnipotent virtual world behind screens that even happen to kill or get one killed.

But then, if the virtual identity is all that remains of importance, then dying in the real world might not matter anymore?

Shift in reality

Whatever ones personal inclination, that for an increasing number of us the perception of reality shifts into the virtual seem to be a fact.

Not that I haven’t experienced exceptions to the rule. I met people, yes, also young people, who have taken a conscious decision to limit their online reality. Have switched from virtual reality back to physical one. Have met others who still don’t – and never plan to – own a smartphone. And others still, that through suffering and with psychological help, have been able to find a way back into this reality from a situation of massive addiction to the world behind the screen.

So the future is not set. It is actually never set. But what matters, what seem to me to be of extreme importance, is that we collectively stop to see technology as a benevolent miracle. Technology is, has and will influence our reality to a yet unknown extent in the future.

Technology is not just to be consumed without critical thinking, one needs to be awake to make technology something that helps humanity evolve and not make it into something that enslaves the human being.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, it has been documented exactly where which infected person was when. Officials are questioning patients, what routes they took and who they contacted. They’re checking surveillance cameras and matching credit card and cell phone records. The routes are then published to prevent further infection.
The German Spiegel, about South-Korea and the Corona virus

This whole story reminds me of the Goethe’s ‘The sorcerer’s apprentice’. A poem that symbolises in a smart way what happens if one plays – out of commodity – with forces one cannot control.

I don’t really know if this is funny – but as I don’t smartphone in public I have time to observe. These are some of the strange impressions I got. Types of smartphone lovers.

Smartphone lovers

The Smiler
He/she is always laughing, usually on video calls.
Bus, tram, train, hotel lobby – everywhere where he/she gets public recognition
Communication level:
20% communication / 80% be somebody special, make sure the whole world knows

The Drama-Queen
Or King…
Discussing very private stuff in public. Preferably for hours. Including shouting, crying, tears. Total drama.
Street and public transport. If he/she enters a bus or train, she will not even stop with those highly emotional discussions when exiting the transport. Non-stop. Second hand embarrassment par excellence.
Communication level:
50% / 50%? I really don’t know. Neither I understand why the whole world has all this extremely private matter.

The Loudspeaker
Preferably on video-call with full level loudspeaker. Often talking to his mother for 3 hours. Loves video calls. Does not know that loudspeakers can be turned off. And definitely does not care.
Street, hotel lobby, restaurant, any public transport, hospital waiting room – anywhere.
Communication level:
40% / 60%. Needs everybody to know that he is loud, that whoever he talks to is sacred (his mother, whoever), gets angry if anybody interrupts. The world is mine.

The Chatter
Frantically typing in hyper speed on the soft-keyboard. Often with 10 people at the same time. And sometimes with the sound on: “Bling”. Message. Typing. “Bling”. Message. Typing. Endless chat going to nowhere.
Communication level:
30% / 70% ? As in multitasking: Extreme. As in quality: I don’t know. It just makes me sad.

The Gamer
Female more prevalent. But males too. Immersed.
Anywhere. Public transport preferred. While walking no problem.
Communication level:
Maybe through avatars? 10% / 90% would be a good assumption. 90% a virtual personality.

The Addict
He/she never is without phone. Always behind the screen. While walking, in the supermarket, on the street, under the bus. In the Sauna, while eating – when making love? The addict is 100% and 24 hours with his smartphone. His/her only friend?
Absolutely everywhere and in any situation.
Communication level:
As this type has no other communication with the world outside than through the screen, I assume t is communication. But in reality it is just a drug, like Cocaine or Heroin.

This reality behind the screen will keep evolving. ‘If one does not go back to the game, the character dies. That is why gamers need to go back’, I overheard in the bus yesterday. Understandable. And the same thing might happen to those whose identity and value depends on the amount of likes on some social network. And whose reality is defined by how fast they react to chat requests.

Thus we are looking as a society at a massive shift of realities. From my time of childhood with the uncomfortable black phone seldomly ringing from the wall – to a real virtual reality of endless connectedness – and often endless physical disconnectedness, from virtual worlds of PacMan to virtual worlds that may soon become even much more immersing than they are now.

Only that, unlike the sorcerer’s apprentice, there is no old man coming home to reestablish order, to speak some wise words, to get us free. We humans are alone. Alone on this Earth. Alone – often – in a world behind the screen. And alone with the indeed real danger of becoming lost slaves of technology.

There is no conclusion. This is probably one of the most inconclusive articles I’ve written. There are no wise words to counterbalance this sexyness of technology that makes it so profoundly potent and dangerous. And there is no ‘no technology’ option here. Technology is trains, technology is a washing machine and technology was my black brick of a a phone on the wall.

The only difference between the known technology of the past and the technology of the future is its potence. All kinds of technology have changed and will keep changing – in positive and negative ways – our reality.

And even if we would reach the conclusion that in essence technology did and does more bad than good, there is no way to turn back time. Virtual reality, artificial intelligence, big data, the internet of things, the information superhighway both as a global communication network and a playfield for the world’s control crazy governments is here to stay.

“Both are running, both are plodding
And with still increased persistence
Hall and work-shop they are flooding.
Master, come to my assistance! –
Wrong I was in calling
Spirits, I avow,
For I find them galling,
Cannot rule them now.”
The Sorcerers Apprentice, Goethe

We are collectively playing sorcerer’s apprentice with no old wise man coming home. But do we really want to exchange the world of true friendship, of face to face communication, of awake conscious experiences in the real world around us against a synthetic, germfree and sadly also quite commitment free world behind a screen? And do we really want to throw the last remaining bit of privacy carelessly away in exchange for some blunt commodity in the form of ‘smart’ technology?
At the end, technology may get smarter and smarter, but we?

Surviving the hell of Naples

German Version – Deutsch Version

This inter.doc (inter.doc is a medium developed by consisting of 80% interview and 20% documentary) about 1 year, 1 month and 20 days in Europes worst prison – so they say – Poggioreale, the Hell of Naples, und the largest federal prison of Italy with around 3300 inmates instead of 1400 as legally allowed.

Language: English with English subtitles
Release: 22.02.2020

About me:
I have got – innocently – a sentence of 1 year 4 months and 20 days and was released 2 months earlier due to good conduct from Europes worst prison, Poggioreale, in the heart of Naples, South Italy.
This inter.doc is not to prove my innocence. Actually I do not want to discuss my innocence. I just know the truth. This content is about my impressions and my survival in the hell of Naples.
I am currently also making the manuscript of a book which both focuses on my prison experience and my past ready for publication. The book which will be published as ‘Memories of a (mad) man” in April 2020 as well as this inter.doc have been a difficult experience to me.
Most people don’t want to know about prison, prisoners, injustice. Most people think inmate are just bad people. And making ones prison experience public is risky.
But I wanted to allow others who did not have the ‘chance’ to make such an experience  more aware of the reality of prisoners. And wake up an often sleeping public conscience to the suffering of ‘deleted numbers’ in a system that talks about human rights – but is often as ruthless as the people called criminals.
And through the creation of those works I have been giving myself the blessings of much needed self therapy, by writing, filming, talking, drawing about an essentially traumatic experience.
I won’t write my full name here because I don’t want Google to index me with prison related keywords. And I enjoy some privacy. In the BEHIND BARS inter.doc you’ll find those informations, hidden in moving images.

Paper doesn’t blush

German Version / Deutsche Version

Yes, to my own surprise and after 52 years of looking at such places incredulously from the outside, I’ve spent 1 year, 2 months and 10 days in prison.

But this fact – and also the fact that I am 100 percent innocent (you don’t need to believe me but I keep fighting with my lawyer through all available courts for my rehabilitation) and none of my constitutional rights were respected – does not shock me. At least not in retroperspective.

Inhuman isolation is according to EU parlament and the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg a primary reason for the dramatically high suicide rate in Italian prisons

What shocks me, and keeps tormenting my mind even now when outside of bars since a good 4 months, is how easy, seamlessly and not found in any way worth of discussion by most citizens of so called civilized and supposingly democratic societies, my basic human rights – and those of the many others who still have to survive my not so distant past imprisonment – have been blatantly violated before, during and even after my stay in what is often considered Europe’s worst prison.

In over one hundred years, apparently, officially, nobody ever made it out of Poggioreale before his day of release. I cannot fully believe this, but it’s a fact that Poggioreale is quite save. The architect of this prison committed suicide – he hanged himself – after realising that the prison he built, in which suddenly his own son became an inmate, was so safe.

Two months before I was released an inmate made it out. Very old school like. This became official news. While I personally think such must have happened before, but officials kept it under the carpet.

2 months prior to my release an inmate made it out of Poggioreale, not through the front door but over the nearly 7 meters high wall. Officially the first in over 100 years.

In Poggioreale, nicknamed ‘The Hell of Naples”, I was not surprised to ‘meet’ violent inmates, real criminals as in murderers, organised crime members and other with serious mental issues, I was surprised to find that the Italian legal system, from police to judges, prosecutors and prison management, does not – in the least – care, respect or much less defend any kind of concept regarding human rights.

My primary feeling was that of a deleted number. That ‘deleted number’ feeling as made me produce an inter.doc, a combination of interview and documentary, with my own self – possibly the only one who cared – about my experience.

Julian Assange – another (mad) journalist?

But the shock still remains. And like a sustained grand piano sound, in keeps lingering in the air. Television, the only information medium allowed in this hell, showed one day how Julian Assange, whistleblower journalistic helper of Wikileaks, was brought out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London and escorted into a waiting police car.

Julian Assange as he left the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, as I saw him in TV. A once strong, proud, fighting man. Now broken, sick, mad? Is psychological torture OK?

I have interviewed Julian and assisted to a press conference he gave in Geneva, Switzerland. That now seems – too – many years ago. In reality, the man I have interviewed is not the man I have seen on television that day. The man in Geneva was a strong, upgright, proud, fighting one.

The one I have seen for a few seconds in TV in an overcrowded cell in Poggioreale while eating cheap, often half-rotten ‘food’ one lunchtime was a broken, small, tired man. And worse, to me it seemed like he had already become a crazy man.

And I seem not the only one having remarked this change. Assange was heavily psychologically tortured, the UN special commissioner for human rights recently said.

Now some may be of the opinion that Julian Assange acted illegally, or is some kind of traitor. I don’t agree but respect other opinions as in free speech – and free thoughts. My real problem is that exactly this free speech and free thoughts which should even more apply to individuals concerned with journalistic work, seems to have been a valid motivation to break a man like him.

Accused by Sweden of rape (to be precise of not agreeing to use a condom which in the special laws of Sweden is considered a form of rape), and worried that those accusations where only a pretension for extradition to the US, he thought and found asylum on the Ecuadorian Emassy in London. Interesting to note that those rape accusations disappeared into strange air as soon as the asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy was removed by some new Ecuadorian politician and Julian was escorted to jail.

Now I do not want to pretend that my jail experience and his jail experience are similar. Or that the way I was psychologically tortured by the ‘system’ and his are the same.

Prison, specially in Poggioreale, also called ‘the hell of Naples’, is not just ‘doing time’, but seconds that are minutes, minutes hours, days months and months years.

Innocent or criminal – it makes no difference

But I am also a journalist, I was in prison for a reason I am fully convinced to be innocent, and my human rights, exactly as his, were disregarded, made even fun of – exactly as his.

I have been working – part time, or as much as my financial situation would allow – as a journalist for the last 15 years. My journalistic work was and most possibly will remain for the foreseeable future, non-commercial, unpaid and fully self financed. Not because I really find this the best way to do things, but because the special interest areas I like to report on tend to not align with editorial constraints.

And during this work, I’ve seen and felt my share of intimidation by both government and corporate ‘agencies’. And as I learned more and more about reality – not the blurred, children rated lies society’s propaganda mediums proclaim – I also understood that we all, while called citizens, are in reality just numbers.

Birth numbers, staff numbers, social security numbers, military staff numbers, hospital patient numbers, unemployment numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, passenger numbers, tomb numbers – or, in some instances – inmate numbers.

Numbers that can be removed, temporarily or permanently, at any time from the system. For no reason at all.

Inmates where holding thos iron bars for hours, looking outside into the equally boring hallway, like animals in a zoo. Behind bars is a sad reality – not just two words.

That, in my view, is the basic reason human rights as a concept exist – and have been signed in the scope of the United Nations definition of them by most ‘civilised’ nations. And having them and purporting to respect them as one reason society can relax, watch TV, eat in a nice restaurant, walk in the parks, sleep well. Because the individual, the one human being, the one number, is nicely held in the believe that there are some human rights, like the right no not be held captive for no reason, the right to legal defense, the right to medical assistance, the right to a minimum of space, the right not be tortured, neither in soul nor in body, do indeed exist.

This article is about reality. And reality is not about human rights. Reality, at least where I was held captive, in the largest federal prison of Italy, does not care for human rights – at all. One example of this fact is the existence of the ‘famous’ cell zero.

‘Zell zero’ in Poggioreale became famous 5 years ago. Walls full of blood, multiple prison guards accused and sentenced, torture, massive human rights abuses.

Cell zero, torture and murder. Who cares.

But where is the public outcry? And even if ‘Cell zero’ in Poggioreale is a proven fact, even if this sound, feels like a huge Human Rights scandal, even if those are new that should make the headlines, where is the massive media attention? I had trouble finding more than a handful of mentions on Google search. And those where mostly from human rights organisation.

This leads us to a second issue. The media. In Wikileaks case, the media was full of Julian Assange, for some time. And loads of journalists for corporate media were able to write about the importance of what he did, about the government crimes he helped bring to the light and about him and his main whistleblower, Chelsea Manning.

But then, as so often, a recurring pattern of mainstream media, the attention died, the coverage of Assange went smaller and smaller, until…

And exactly this is part of the problem. Not every citizen is careless, emotionless, indifferent. Human rights are indeed important and even essential to civilisation to some. And what the big names media often does, is overreact. Report until those emotions die down. Then bring the words to the grave. As soon as attention of the public dies, the media reporting seems to die too.

Inmates walking, running, sitting, talking in the courtyard, a dirty piece of concrete offering very limited freedom and some fresh air one to three hours a day.

And that is one of the problems with human rights. Human rights die too. They don’t die on paper, those UN conventions are still signed documents by the highest dignitaries of participating governments and similarly part of the basic legal constitution of many countries – including such like Italy – but they die in reality.

Human rights are, as the father from the catholic church told me – in his way – with what I felt a sarcastic smirk when he put a huge book titled ‘Prisoner Rights’ on a small table in a small office I met him in Poggioreale, just words: “Here are your rights”.

What he really meant was, take this book with you up to the cell and be the laughing stock of your fellow inmates or just shove it into your ass. It does neither matter to me or to anybody else in here what is written in there.

Law and order. Or populism and fascism.

When they arrested me – for a crime I did not commit, but this is another story, police didn’t give me a chance to read the accusations, they beat me up as a group of seven and they didn’t bring me a lawyer even after many requests. When they brought me to court and sentenced me I had no lawyer and no translator and was not in any way informed of my rights. But only when I arrived in my cell – slowly and over the first weeks and months of imprisonment – I realised what having no rights really meant.

Europe court say Italy's hard prison regime breaches human rights
Multiple times the European court for human rights has condemned italy for breaching inmates human rights in prison. But nothing is happened. Zero. Null.

Now the problem with human rights is not how well they worded, and the same goes for nice words in respective constitutions – but how much they are upheld. Or if. And the problem with media is not that it does not report often on ‘deleted numbers ‘ (and deleted numbers we both are, Julian and me, as are many, many others held captive all over the globe) but that the citizen, in majority, believe that the media would report if those basic rights are just on paper that does not blush. Our modern and civilised societies are used to delegation. Responsibility in the case of human rights is delegated to governments, judges and the media. The duty of the journalist is to report if they are abused, the duty of the judge to respect them, the duty of the government and of the executive forces to upheld them.

But this is not reality. In reality, once you are in prison those rights are gone. Theoretically you should not be tortured or killed or left without any medical assistance. But in practical terms, you are just an inmate number with – in the best case and based on your financial possibilities – with access to a private lawyer who actually cares about your case as the only means to defend your rights.

And this lawyer is part of the system. He has to feed his own family, keep his right to exercise, not upset the judge or the prosecutor too much – and he also gets used and kind of conditioned to the reality of the system. A good lawyer in Italy – and I met, among bad ones, quite a few – would say: “Yes, I know that the police is fascist” or “This prison is a horrible place” or “I don’t like this system, but I have to play by the rules”. But the citizen who has the chance to – still – live in comparative freedom and who possibly has a remaining believe in an existence of human rights, expects an outcry. An outcry that does not happen.

The reason is that we all, and this is even more acentuated for people whos work is to defend human rights, have to make a living. The lawyer needs to make a living, the (in Italy not so common) law abiding and not corrupt policeman has to keep his job and keep thus quiet and the journalist cannot write on what he thinks is important – but most comply with the newspaper view. Follow the money – as always.

A coffee, a cigarette. Little things become essential lifesavers behind bars. And having gas, coffee, sugar, cups – and tobacco, papers, a lighter. Not evident.

Just numbers. Just useless eaters. Just…

Thus what shocked me, and keeps shocking me today – also in memory of the many innocents and small time criminals incarcerated for ludicrous amounts of drugs or for tiny things – is not the reality that human rights are essentially words of people, which I kind of knew before – but the realisation at how quickly those theoretical rights can be removed from you.

It remembers me a bit the feeling when I lost some work and thus my badge and seeing those people walk eagerly with their batches around. Oh, I realised, you are not one of them anymore. And more, who are you now? But worse. This time it was, you were once a citizen. You had some rights. You at least imagined so. And now?

In Poggioreale, which is possibly the oldest prison of Italy and defintely not considered a nice one, human rights became exactly what the official from church made apparent. Words. Just words. I saw inmate with massive heart problems, with tumors that deformed their body, with cancer that got no medical treatment at all. I had to eat food that made many sick and some dead. I had to experience inhuman treatment, psychical mainly but also psychical torture firsthand. I had to hear nearly daily the siren of the dead, a distinctive sound that filled the hallways when people died. I had to see suicides. Had to experience people going completely mad right in front of my eyes.

And I am not saying that all the staff in Poggioreale where bad people. “We know that most inmates are innocent and that the real criminals are outside enjoying their lifes” a couple of elderly prison guards with sad eyes told me while sitting in their office and after being offered a well appreciated cigarette. “You’re right” the lady from the government agency supposed to guarantee human rights in Italian prisons said when I told her that fascism had arrived in Italy. Only that she left and never came back. “Patience” many told me, “just have patience”.

Yes, I had patience and made it out alive. But I was lucky. My thoughts are with the many captive in prison, mental hospitals and other official and unofficial institutions around the world. And I do not have a problem with somebody having committed a crime going to prison. At all.

One day, about 20 guards came out in the courtyard and took us one by one inside for an extensive search. We naked and them in uniforms is a situation of weakness.

But I do have a problem with human rights not worth the paper they have been written on, with their signature not meriting the respect of the ink used. I have a problem with lies. And in that sense I do see parallels between Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and me. We both became deleted numbers. And this happened in the very middle of civilised societies. And nobody seems to care.

And we both are in essence just slaves of the system. Not citizens. And never were. The concept of citizen is a shame in itself. It is a well known fact that governments kill people. They have their bodies for that kind of work. And it is a reality that the status, the dignity, the freedom – and all rights, can be taken away from the unsuspecting citizen anytime.

For any reason.

Even some criminal lawyers went marching on the street to accuse Poggioreale of human rights abuse. For lawyers with soul Poggioreale is an emotionally hard place.

Where even the lawyers suffer

What a shame that in the case of Poggioreale even lawyers had to go on the street to make abuse of human rights public. But again, how many news reports is one able to find of this? One?

And what does it change? In Italy, television is full of uniforms. Military tells you the weather – really – archived police cars are shown 70% of news footage time and a populist government is telling the citizen how hard the system fights for justice. Government, the media and politicians are working hand in hand to convince the Italian citizen both of the existence of heavy crime (need of security) and of the perfect state (justice, police, military) doing their best to eliminate it.

Excuse me? In Italy? Reality is that I met multiple small time drug dealers incarcerated for many years. OK, this is up to society how much they want to criminalise people which where found with minimal amounts of a soft drug. But in Italy, where the cargo ships with tons of hard drugs pass the coast each night, where every construction site, many companies and even hospitals are infiltrated by organised crime and work hand in hand with officials, how does imprisonment for nearly 4 years for a man found with 2.5 grams of Haschisch sound?

In Poggioreale, there was no medicine. The only thing they had was pain pills. Whenever asked, the answer was: No money. The problem is that a huge amount of money goes into Poggioreale each year. And the question is, where does it disappear? What society does, according to my observation in an exponentially increasing way, is conveniently look away. Not only the guards, the management, the judges, the prosecutors, even most lawyers, conveniently look away from the myriad of human rights abuses committed against Poggioreale’s, and as I understand against most of the over 72000 prisoners in Italy – but also the media and – trusting the media or finding trusting them convenient – the citizen.

The European parliaments delegation of Italy also condemned multiple times the Italy for not addressing structural problems of its penitentiary system. To no avail.

Human rights in Italy? Just a dream

Apparently, the EU human rights court in Strasbourg and even the EU parlament, after many complaints, was unable to look away anymore. Both complained multiple times that the Italian prison system was inadequate.

Zell zero. There should have been a massive public outcry. Instead, the story of cell zero was only reported by a few courageous media. And the tortured and dead?

In essence, the existence of torture and human rights abuse in general is known to the UN, to the EU court and to the EU parlament. Since many years.

And now? This is the problem. Now – nothing. Nothing will change. Assange is a traitor I heard from some. That he deserves whatever happens to him. While I can live with the traitor opinion, because in the end we all have different viewpoints and should all be allowed to have them, what do some mean by ‘and he deserved it’?

Do accused merit to be sentenced without lawyer, translator, being beaten up, forced to sign unread documents? Do inmates in prison merit to die because of inexistent medical assistance, rotten and contaminated food or by guards that lose their temper?

Does Julian Assange merit to being broken down completely, going sick and mad, being forgotten just for offering a platform on which government crimes were published?

In our modern societies, delegation is common. Responsibility for the poor is delegated to state welfare. For human rights abuses to the media. The ‘normal citizen’, afraid to lose his job, afraid of crime, afraid of complexity, afraid of so many things, but in essence just afraid and thus pretending to not be interested, delegates responsibility to the media. And if, as in Italy, the media (apart from few exceptions and of those quite a few closed down now with populist, right wing governments) does not report on violations of human rights anymore, what then?

Well, in Julian Assange’s case, in my view a combination of 2 US ‘slave’ states all too eager to comply, England and Sweden and a media that lost interest sadly and interestingly very quickly, left a once strong fighter an old, both mentally and physically handicapped man. His rights don’t matter – in the least. They don’t matter to the media and by extrapolation they don’t matter to the citizen, who seems to have delegated all his conscience to media and government.

The only place for some spirituality in Poggioreale. Intently watched by rows of guards one could listen to what the catholic church had to say. And nothing else.

He got what he deserved. And me? And you?

Thus ‘he got what he deserved’ seems a dangerous statement. Has not every fascist, dystopian system used similar concepts? Does somebody who, purposely or really, commits a crime deserve anything? Do we collectively base human rights on… what?

But I am not writing this to complain about the concept of human rights. I am not disliking any constitution or law. I am writing this to express my sadness at the fact that those things are not values.

But remain words – that don’t blush – on paper, written with ink wasted, if they are not upheld. A society that collectively looks away, at Assange, at me, at the ones tortured in cell zero, at the ones still walking around with cancers and tumors each day in the courtyard of Poggioreale – is not a civilised society.

A civilised society respects human rights. A civilised press reports on human rights abuses. A civilised police upholds them. A civilised judge remembers them. And a civilised prison does not destroy the last bit of them.

In Poggioreale, I met many young black men, some of them got 2-4 years for being caught with Marijuana, many others jailed for a police prime, statistics and being black.

Thus in my view society, systems, citizens are in no urgent need to create more good looking laws, sign more conventions, condemn with more rhetorical alarm. But to respect. To upheld. To take action.

Not just protect the upstanding citizen – or pretend to. But make sure that we are not just reduced to numbers, and get used to it – but remain humans. And get treated as such.

Also in a situation of weakness. The once strong man Julian Assange looked very weak and frail to me on TV. “He deserved it”?. Why?

Did Poggioreale’s inmates deserve to die of bad food, of absence of medical treatment or, worse even, in cell zero?

And did I deserve to be incarcerated with no lawyer, no translator, no documents – after being robbed 3 times in the previous days. Did I deserve no visits, no phone calls, no contact to friends and family?

Of the many inmates that die each year in Italys prison system only few are reported correctly. The number system is still at works. Stasticically most inmates die in the ambulance. It is an open secret in prison that reports can falsified to make statistics look nice.

Because, after all, we are all not citizens, we are numbers. Or not?

Last year, in Italy, there were nearly 1200 suicide attempts and over 100 suicides in prisons. Others died of bad food, of inadequate medicine, by guards or by other inmates.

I made it out alive. My innocence is not proven and maybe never will. One of the few friends left – of the ones that did not judge me or cheat me while behind bars – said to me: “You have to go to the Human Rights court. This is an injustice. You need to fight for your right”.

Indeed, I have to. I would have to. I should. But it’s not easy. Most people may believe that I deserved it. It does not matter to them if I am innocent or a criminal. They just delegate. If the judge says so. If police says so. If the government says so.

Me, taking a shower. My only tattoo, done after 10 years of observation and contemplation, reflects what I believe we all are for the often ruthless system(s).

And fighting for one’s right is both expensive and risky. In Poggioreale, the ones that made appeal while in prison often got to stay even longer. The state does not like to be criticized.

It is not as simple. Getting your right means having a voice. That Julian Assange is currently suffering in a UK prison, probably soon to be extradited to the US and condemned to a life sentence, is not a question of moral innocence. He just played with forces that are angry now – and stronger than him.

That is why we would need a strong media. Journalists that are not afraid. And strong lawyers. A strong and truly civilised system.

What we get instead is pretention.

Politicians pretend that human rights are upheld. Police pretends to defend the law. Judges pretend to be impartial. And prison pretends that a cell zero is ok.

We get pretentions. Faked signatures on worthless paper. Not only does that – hopefully – not represent humanities civilisation level but its a shame. Its a shame to talk and not take action. Its worse than to not pretend anything.

“He deserves it”. Sure, Julian deserves it. I deserve it. And, who knows, maybe tomorrow, you’ll deserve it…
